HHFA Role:
HHFA coordinated with the cardiologist and arranged a consultation for the patient.  Understanding his financial concerns, HHFA financed the patient for pacemaker therapy. This was the first case where HHFA financing exceeded the device cost

Current status:
Patient received implant in August  2011 and is recovering well
